The Reclusionist Exhibit

The Reclusionist Exhibit will feature the artwork of El Paso artist, author and musician James Robert Murphy. A video of his work may be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a55IfrdYrKM&t=73s. The Reclusionist Exhibit will feature more than 40 works of abstract impressionism. A self-taught artist, Murphy first became interested in art when working for the El Paso Museum of History more than a decade ago. His works are seldom displayed in public, choosing to visit one-on-one with interested art lovers instead. The opening is scheduled for June 2nd. A private reception to celebrate the closing of the Collections Management Campaign that began on the crowd-funding Indiegogo site on April 1st, will take place Thursday, April 6th between 3 and 5 p.m. To contribute to the campaign visit: https://igg.me/at/imoa. Entrance to the Reclusionist Exhibit will be free. Entrance to the opening reception will be limited to those contributing to the Collections Management Campaign.
