Art by El Paso Community College’s Art + Art History faculty members will be on display at the 2022 Biennial Faculty Art Exhibition at the International Museum of Art- El Paso’s North Gallery during the month of April.
The exhibition runs from Saturday, April 2nd – Saturday April 30th
The public is invited to attend a joint opening reception for both the student and faculty exhibition on Saturday, April 2 from 2-4 p.m.
“The 2022 Biennial Faculty Art Exhibition features everything from sculpture to photography to installation art,” said Zoe Spiliotis, EPCC Professor of Art and Faculty Art Exhibit Coordinator. “We hope you will join us to view brand new work by our esteemed studio faculty members. Several new faculty members are featured as well as senior faculty who have been teaching at the College for many years.”
The artists represented in this year’s exhibition include: Sarelah Aguilar, Adrian Aguirre, Don Cowan, Brack Morrow, Lisa Miller, Michelle Murphy, Frank Rimbach, Harry Sanchez, Marco Sanchez, Louie Salazar, Zoe Spiliotis, Isadora Stowe, Sterling Trantham, and Miguel Valenzuela.
The International Museum of Art El Paso has generously offered the Turney-Youth Art & Education Gallery to hold the 2022 Annual Student Exhibition. The International Museum of Art and EPCC share an ongoing vision that art and art education is a crucial component of a thriving and productive society.
The student show coincides with the EPCC Faculty Art Biennial Exhibition being held in the North Gallery of the International Museum of Art also during the month of April.
There will be a joint opening reception honoring the students and faculty on Saturday, April 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, which will be free and open to the public.
