The International Museum of Art is honored to be “The People’s Museum” and has the distinct opportunity to showcase local art in our community galleries, especially through our annual Sun Bowl Art Exhibit. The Sun Bowl Art Exhibit is a proud part of the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, celebrating the artistic excellence of our community. Beginning in 1949 as the Sun Carnival Art Exhibit, it is one of the longest running juried art shows in the American Southwest. Our 77th annual Sun Bow Art Exhibit will be another stunning showcase of our region’s artistic vision, offering the best of our local artists.
The Sun Bowl Art Exhibit does not have a set theme, we encourage each artist to submit work that represents the best of their practice. Artists are welcome to submit up to three (3) works in any media that they believe best captures their creativity, artistic merit and vision.
The entry fee to Sun Bowl Art Exhibit 2026-27 is $60.00 for non-members and $40.00 for Members at the Artist level or higher. Your entry fee directly supports our mission of making art accessible to all and helps cover the costs of organizing the gallery. Members are encouraged to upgrade their membership to utilize the discount.
