📍Support “The People’s Museum” during a special sale of local Impressionist painter, Carmen “Kany” Rodriguez on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday October 19 from 12:30 pm-4:30 pm.
🖌Kany, as she was best known, was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and began her artistic journey in 1990 in the Centro Artesanal in Mexico. In 1997, she continued her work and education in El Paso, studying watercolor under Hilda Rosenfeld. She fell in love with Impressionism after working with, Aleskander and Lyuba Titovets. Under their guidance, Carmen’s hobby turned into a flourishing profession. Her paintings are an exploration of the natural world and her travels. Proceeds from this sale will benefit the International Museum of Art; IMoA members are eligible for a 10% discount of their purchase.
🖼District Frame & Art Co. will be offering free framing consultations during the sale and are offering a 15% discount on framing for any works purchased from the exhibition.
