Opening & Reception of Changing Tides: The Legacy of Watermedia 2025

The IMoA is excited to open Changing Tides: The Legacy of Watermedia, a Community Showcase on March 1, 2025. The gallery explores the possibilities of watercolor, acrylic, ink and gouache, featuring 45 local artists. All are invited to celebrate the gallery opening on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 2-4 pm.

Changing Tides will be on view from March 1 – April 13, 2025.

IMoA Director Emily Leedom remarks that Changing Tides is a celebration of all watermedia. “Our community is filled with many talented artists who have upheld the tradition of watercolor and those who are pursuing new ideas; this gallery is about bringing them together. We are proud to be a community-driven organization that can showcase local artists.”

The International Museum of Art is dedicated to making art accessible to all, offering free admission, exhibitions of local artists, and a rich collection of regional and international artifacts.

Thanks to the generous support of our members and donors, we continue to foster cultural understanding and promoting the visual arts in El Paso.
