The International Museum of Art is proud to announce the call to artists for our 3rd annual Member Showcase. As “The People’s Museum,” we are a community-driven organization and are supported through the dedication of our members, donors and community partners. We began holding this show to highlight the creativity and talents of our supporters.
This year’s show is titled Joy Abounds and is about celebrating the joy that we have in our lives and community. We want to showcase the people, places, and moments that bring us happiness. Work that exemplifies your definition of joy or explores what happiness means to you is encouraged. It is open to work in all mediums and the call to artists is open until June 15, 2025. Entries can be submitted in person, via mail or digitally on Google Forms.
Joy Abounds is free to enter to all active members at the Artist Level and above; members are welcome to upgrade their membership to participate in the show. Our Artist Members receive a 20% discount on any single gallery rental as well as discounts into our other shows such as the annual Sun Bowl, and any show that the museum puts out the year.

Finally, we have made some changes to our community galleries and showcases. These changes were made to help our staff continue to expand access to arts while maintaining a high standard of presentation. Please read the prospectus carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
The biggest change we would like to announce is that digital works will now be accepted into our community galleries. Works that are painted/illustrated, rendered and edited digitally will be accepted into community showcases. Please note that AI works will NOT be accepted and works suspected of AI use will be asked to verify their process. Digital works must be printed at the best resolution available, framed and ready to hang. They must comply with sizing requirements outlined in the prospectus.
